Scratch Builds
The inspiration for a new product can come from many places: familiar everyday objects, from creative solutions to unexpected problems, or from brainstorming sessions. Many of the product innovations and one-of-a-kind solutions created in the Kikboxes workshop have drawn from our past experience. Firefighting, PC gaming, role playing, auto racing, current events, world history, graphic novels and comic books are but a small sample of the sources of recent inspiration from which has come new product ideas.

Crafting new products from scratch, either as pre-prototype mockups, working samples, or even just to see how that a fuzzy-concept-to-sitting-in-your-hand "something" feels as a real object, is less of a process and more of a journey. It's not possible to force ideas into reality, but as careful consideration of the dimension, weight, and design aesthetic turns into the bending of metal, sculpting of clay, or whisper of an airbrush, innovation takes shape.
